South Dallas Cultural Center hosts Arts Eats & Beats

Spice up your evening with arts, eats, and beats. The South Dallas Cultural Center will be hosting an exhibition show at 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10, 2021. Fill your Friday night with art, food, and music!

The show will kick off with Aimée M. Everett‘s opening exhibition, Paying Reverence to the Altar of Memories and Seeing Ghosts: Revisited. In this series, Everett is honoring the memories that have been difficult and traumatic to confront and honoring those that keep hope as a constant. Her additional gallery, Seeing Ghosts: Revisited, is a blend of Everett’s offering of protection to the Black community from the Bartlett Project and to highlight their history. This show exhibition is free and open to the public.

After viewing Everett’s artwork, grab a bite to eat at The Butter Fairy. Purchase some sweet treats from them and get ready to extend your evening with an intimate musical performance during the SDCC Music Lounge show at 7:30 p.m.
