Dallas Executive Airport Phase 1 runway reconstruction will be completed in November

Construction crews have begun pouring concrete on the south end of runway 31 at Dallas Executive Airport as part of a runway reconstruction project.

The project was undertaken to improve the deteriorating main runway and make it safe for the mix of airplanes landing at Dallas Executive. The reconstruction was funded by the Texas Department of Transportation and mandated by the Federal Aviation Administration.

Phase I is scheduled to be completed in November.
