Traffic advisories for Rock N’ Roll Hall Marathon and DFW Auto Show Test Drive

The Dallas Rock n’ Roll Half Marathon will be held from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sunday March 19 in downtown Dallas. The 13.1-mile race will start at Young & Lamar Street at 8 a.m. and finish on Sports Street. A post run celebration will take place at the Reunion Lawn. Roads will reopen on Sunday as the last runner passes and course materials are removed.

Road and freeway ramp closures:
Downtown Area – 7:15 to 10:15 a.m.
West Dallas Area – 7:15 to 11:30 a.m.
Kessler Park/ Oak Cliff – 7:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Houston Viaduct/Reunion Lawn Area – 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Freeway on and off ramp closures:

I-75 N Off-Ramp to Main St., 7 to 10 a.m.
I-75 S On-Ramp from Main St., 7 to 10 a.m.
I-35 E Northbound on-Ramp from Commerce St., 7 to 10:30 a.m.
I-35 E Northbound Off-Ramp to Continental Ave., 7 to 11 a.m.
Woodall Rodgers Fwy On-Ramp from Riverfront, 7 to 11 a.m.
Woodall Rodgers Fwy Off-Ramp to Riverfront, 7 to 11 a.m.
MHH Bridge Off Ramp to I-35E North, 7 to 11 a.m.

The DFW Auto Show test drive
Wednesday March 22 through Sunday March 26 the DFW Auto Show will host a vehicle test drive in downtown Dallas. Test drive hours will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday March 22 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Sunday (March 23 to 26).

The following lane closures will occur during the test drive:
South curb lane of Ceremonial between Lamar and Griffin; partial street closures will be required (eastbound lanes of Ceremonial of Lamar St.). The test drive route will be south on Griffin, right on Canton, right on Lamar, right on Ceremonial back to the start. No full road street closures are required.
