Some Dallas parks to remain closed over July 4 weekend due to flooding

As the July 4 weekend approaches, some City of Dallas parks will remain closed due to high water conditions and Dallas Fire-Rescue inspectors will monitor parks for illegal fireworks displays. The following parks will be closed over the holiday weekend:

  • AT& T Trail
  • California Crossing
  • Great Trinity Forest Gateway and Horse Trails Park
  • B. Houston Nature Trails
  • Little Lemmon
  • Moore Park
  • Santa Fe Trestle Trail
  • Standing Wave
  • Trammell Crow Lake Park
  • Trinity Trails Phase 2
  • White Rock Creek Trail at Anderson-Bonner Park

Dallas Fire-Rescue Inspectors will monitor Mountain Creek Lake and Trammell Crow Lake Park for illegal fireworks displays on Saturday July 4. Park users will be required to leave Mountain Creek Lake Park at 9 p.m. and Crow Lake Park at 8:30 p.m. on July 4. Trammell Crow Lake remains closed due to flooding.
