Dallas Zoo’s Wild About Art children’s program kicks off Saturday
Does your young child like animals and art? If so, the Dallas Zoo has a new program to foster this nurturing and creativity.
The Wild About Art program gives budding artists the chance to create animal-inspired products and while also venturing through the Zoo to see the creatures come to life. Dallas Zoo instructors will use a variety of materials and art techniques to inspire young minds while giving the students a chance to enjoy an up-close animal encounter.
The program is open to children ages 5 to 8 from 1 to 2:45 p.m. on select Saturday’s. Sessions will be offered on: Oct. 10, Nov. 14, Feb. 13, March 12, April 9 and May 14. Cost Per Session: Child Zoo Member: $15/child; Child Non Member: $20/child. (Cost includes admission and all art supplies.)
