Dallas Public Library to present Career Connections program Friday
TEAM COMM and the Dallas Public Library will present a free event for job-seekers with criminal histories from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday July 8 at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library, 1515 Young St.
Career Connections is designed to help previously incarcerated residents acquire the skills necessary to get and keep a job The program will offer one-on-one help with resumes and job interviews; information sessions will include a presentation on criminal record expunction by Legal Aid of Northwest Texas. Local non-profit service providers will also be on hand to offer assistance and advice.
