Dallas North Tollway Ramps will shut down for construction this weekend

The North Texas Tollway Authority will perform pavement repairs on the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) ramps at Mockingbird Lane, Lemmon Avenue and Wycliff Avenue this weekend. The project will take place from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday Oct. 3 and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday Oct. 4 requiring four ramps to be closed during that time.

The following DNT ramps will be repaired: north and southbound Mockingbird Lane entrance ramps, southbound Lemmon Avenue entrance ramp and northbound Wycliff Avenue entrance ramp. The work is expected to be completed in one weekend, pending weather and work schedules.

The maintenance work is needed to improve the condition of the ramps and provide a smoother ride for motorists traveling on the DNT. These closures are required for the public’s safety. The repairs will consist of removing and replacing old concrete on the four ramps. No main lanes will be closed during the ramp closures. The project is scheduled to end in mid-October, weather permitting.
