Dallas Love Field | Travel + Leisure Review

Dallas Love Field is located seven miles northwest of the downtown central business district and is managed by the City of Dallas’ Department of Aviation. The airport is served by Southwest, Virgin America, United, Seaport and Delta airlines, as well as corporate users.

Love Field serves an average of nine million passengers per year and is self-supported through reasonable user fees and charges, with no cost to the taxpayer. The airport averaged 164 commercial flights daily in 2014 through two active runways in addition to serving the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars and visiting teams. This model helps the airport play a vital role in the economy of the City of Dallas, the region and the nation.
