Dallas Animal Services’ mascot adopted by VCA Animal Hospitals

After seven years of service, Dallas Animal Services’ (DAS) longtime mascot, Rudy, has been adopted by VCA Animal Hospitals. He’ll enjoy retirement at VCA, greeting guests, both two- and four-legged alike. Rudy will also promote the partnership between VCA and DAS, which includes free veterinary exams for pets recently adopted from DAS.

Like any pet adopted from DAS, Rudy was examined by DAS’ veterinarians, microchipped, vaccinated and neutered. As he departs DAS to his fur-ever home, two new mascots will be joining the DAS family. A dog and cat pair, their names will be Tag and Chip. The public is invited to vote on which will be called Tag and Chip. Voting is open on the DAS Facebook page.
