Community invited to Coffee with Cops this Friday

The Dallas Police Department  wants to have coffee with you on March 4.

DPD’s Coffee with Cops provides free coffee in an environment free of guest speakers and free of agendas. The Coffee with Cops program is a community engagement opportunity designed to create an interactive conversation between citizens and police officers who service that particular area.

Coffee with cops2Past events have targeted morning hours, but demand has opened up coffee opportunities for lunch and dinner goers at area McDonalds to meet the dedicated civil servants who serve their neighborhoods.

“Coffee with Cops further enhances the relationship between the Dallas Police Department and local residents,” said Chief David Brown.

Coffee with Cops will be held Friday March 4 at these locations:

Breakfast, 7 to 9 a.m.

McDonald’s locations: 11749 Plano Road; 17606 Midway Road; 2475 Royal Lane
