New program will help fund cultural and creative services in Dallas

The Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) has announced a new program to fund cultural programs in the City of Dallas. The Cultural Vitality Program will be supported by the OCA and guided by the Cultural Affairs Commission. The CVP initiatives are:

Cultural Equity. This initiative will focus on projects affirming that everyone deserves the ability to participate in a full, vibrant and creative life throughout the City of Dallas.

Audience and Neighborhood Engagement. This initiative will seek out individuals and organizations with innovative ideas that will connect, engage and develop new and diverse participants.

getimage (2)Sustainability and Resilience. This initiative will strengthen planning and operations of established arts organizations to ensure long term success and resilience.

Contract awards will range from $2,500 to $20,000. First round applications are due April 1, with projects beginning May 1.
