City water conservation videos inspire ideas, aid do-it-yourselfers

The City of Dallas recognizes that water conservation is the best solution to ensuring an adequate supply to match its growth rate and accommodate its 2.5 million customers. From treatment to conservation, the responsibility for maintaining the water supply rests with Dallas Water Utilities (DWU). Since 2001, residential and commercial water conservation efforts enacted by Dallas Water Utilities has saved more than 250 billion gallons of water.

Save Dallas Water program is committed to saving water indoors and outdoors, water-wise landscaping and providing its customers sustainable ways to lower their water bill. To educate customers on simple do-it-yourself repairs, projects and effective water-wise landscapes, DWU has an extensive collection of videos available on YouTube.
