City of Dallas Surveyor will evaluate questions for state exam

City of Dallas Surveyor Ilona E. Rossato has been asked by the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveyors to help evaluate questions and problems for the Board’s registration exams. The Board regulates the practice of land surveying and the registration of professional land surveyors in Texas.

Rossato will be involved in selecting exam problems, solving them and making sure all are according to professional standards. The registration process consists of: an eight-hour exam to become a Surveyor in Training; a minimum two-year internship supervised by a Texas RPLS, and the final exam to become registered.

The mission of the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying is to protect the residents of Texas by regulating, licensing and renewing the licenses of only competent surveyors; surveyors able to provide accurate surveys which will result in the orderly use of our physical environment.
