City of Dallas Department and Facility Holiday Closures

The City of Dallas offices will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19, 2024, for Presidents’ Day.

Please see below for a full list of department and facility closures. 

Dallas Public Libraries: 

All library locations are closed on Monday, Feb. 19. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday Feb. 20.

Sanitation: 

Sanitation hours of services and collection schedule will not be affected on Monday, Feb. 19. Find disposal information and hours here. 

Park & Recreation:   

Dallas Park and Recreation administrative offices, maintenance facilities, and recreation centers will be closed Monday, Feb. 19, 2024. Normal business operations resume Tuesday, February 20, 2024.

Dallas Water Utilities:  

Dallas Water Utilities administrative and customer services offices will be open on Feb. 19.

For emergency service requests, customers may call 3-1-1. Non-emergency requests can be submitted here or on Dallas 311 mobile app available for download on Apple and Android devices. 

Animal Services: 

Animal Shelters hours will be 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Field services will be 24 hours as usual.

Cultural Centers:

Bath House Cultural Center

Closed on Monday, and will have normal operating hours on Tuesday, Feb 20, 2024.

Latino Cultural Center

Closed on Monday, and will have normal operating hours on Tuesday, Feb 20, 2024.

Oak Cliff Cultural Center

Closed on Monday, and will have normal operating hours on Tuesday, Feb 20, 2024.

South Dallas Cultural Center 

Closed on Monday and Tuesday, and will have normal operating hours beginning Wednesday, Feb 21, 2024.

Juanita Craft Civil Rights House & Museum 

Closed on Monday and Tuesday, and will have normal operating hours beginning Wednesday, Feb 21, 2024.
