Over 100 earn a clean slate

For over 14 years, the Dallas City Attorney’s Office Community Courts Division has lead the nation in Criminal Justice Reform by building healthy relationships between law enforcement and communities as well as pushing forward with innovative solutions to help people clear their record.

Over the past weekend, the Office of Community Courts joined forces with the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office to hold an expunction clinic graduation ceremony. Over 500 people participated in the clinic earlier this year, and we’re proud to say 174 completed the process and graduated on Saturday, May 19 with their record expunged.
