Due to deteriorating conditions, the City of Dallas will be replace the 60-year-old Walcrest reservoir located at the northeast corner of Walnut Hill Lane and Hillcrest Road.
Most of the construction will be confined to the site and will be fenced off for public safety. No significant impact on travelers is expected, however there will be lane closures on Hillcrest and Walnut Hill for a period of time to remove the existing structure and install new valves.
