Miracle-Ear Foundation Brings the Gift of Sound to Dallas

Miracle-Ear Foundation Brings the Gift of Sound to Dallas

Local Miracle – Ear stores and the Miracle-Ear Foundation have teamed up with the City of Dallas, Dallas County Health and Human Services, UNIDOS, and Dallas College to host a special one-day event to help over 200 people in Dallas and the surrounding area who cannot afford the hearing help they need. During this event, application fees are waived, and recipients will receive free hearing aids and lifetime aftercare services.

The Miracle-Ear Foundation® serves and supports children and adults who have hearing loss. The Gift of Sound™ program provides hearing aids and hearing support services at no cost to families or individuals who have incomes that are significantly limited, who are unable to afford the high costs of quality hearing instruments, and who have exhausted all possible resources for their hearing health.

16% of Texans have hearing loss to some magnitude. Those who are hearing impaired still face many challenges, some posed by societal misperceptions and stigmas, which often limits efforts for preventing and addressing hearing loss.

The Miracle-Ear Foundation, through its 9th Miracle Mission, has the goal of fitting those in need with hearing aids. Miracle-Ear believes everyone deserves access to quality hearing healthcare and is committed to making it more accessible. Through the world of the Miracle-Ear Foundation and Miracle Missions like this one, they are making that a reality.
