The City of Dallas Department of Public Works asked for input from residents after hosting a virtual public meeting in December on the two-way street conversion project for McKinney Avenue and Cole Avenue.

Staff collected input through public survey responses for the project from December 18, 2020 to January 11, 2021. The survey received 128 total responses. The target audience of the public survey was people of all ages who either live, commute, work, or frequent the Uptown area of Dallas including McKinney Avenue, Cole Avenue, Carlisle Street, Harvard Avenue and Allen Street.

You can view the full survey results and analysis here: McKinney/Cole Conversion Survey Results

The collected responses will be used by the City of Dallas Department of Public Works and their project partners (UDI, MATA, TxDOT, RTC/NCTCOG) as part of the project design process.

Public Works staff will plan a follow-up meeting with the community as the design moves forward. The date of the next meeting is currently undetermined.

Materials from the previous meeting can be viewed below.
