Veterans Day Town Hall: Hosted by U.S. Representative Marc Veasey
If you’re interested in learning more about the challenges veterans face and how local lawmakers are working to support them, don’t miss this important Town Hall hosted by U.S. Representative Marc Veasey. It’s an opportunity to engage directly with Congress and discuss solutions for veterans’ issues in our community.

Dallas College Veterans Day Celebration

District 4 Community Veterans Day Parade: Home of the Free Because of the Brave
Join Council Woman Carolyn King Arnold for the 5th Annual Community Veterans Day Parade as we celebrate honor local veterans. The parade will feature a procession of veterans and community members, followed by a short program with food and live music. It’s a wonderful chance to show your appreciation and get involved in the celebration of those who have served.

Greater Dallas Veterans Day Parade: “Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the All Volunteer Force”
The 11th Hour Ceremony will include: a symbolic wreath laying ceremony accompanied by Taps, a Missing Man Formation military fly over and patriotic comments from local civic and military leaders. Following the ceremonies, the colorful Massing of the Colors will be performed by area High School JROTC cadets. The parade starts at the intersection of Admiral Nimitz Circle and M. L. King Blvd. and passes in review on Grand Avenue.
At 10:50 a.m., over 150 young men and women will take the Oath of Enlistment, marking a special moment in history as they join the ranks of the U.S. military. Military vehicles and equipment, veteran organizations, and civic displays will be available for viewing prior to the parade.
