First green business is certified in Dallas

Villa Santa Maria Apartments is the first certified green business in Dallas. Villa Santa Maria earned a Silver Certification through its recycling efforts. The complex has nearly 70 apartments and is continually adding more recycling roll carts to fit the needs of its residents.

The Sanitation department launched a free Green Business Certification Program four months ago to help Dallas move towards its zero waste goal. To get started in making your business green certified, call 3-1-1 or 214-670-5111.
