City of Dallas to host DFW Data Day
The City of Dallas will serve as a Smart City Host for this year’s DFW Open Data Day on Saturday, March 2 at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library. Open Data Day is a gathering of citizens to write applications, liberate data, create visualizations and publish analyses using open public data to show support for and encourage the adoption of municipal open data policies.
DFW Open Data Day is free and will teach residents innovative solutions to make a positive impact in their community.
To enhance the City’s civic engagement and transparent open government policies, the City of Dallas launched Dallas 365 to provide greater accountability to residents. Dallas 365 tracks actions intended to lead to full implementation of City policies.
This event is open to the public. Interested participants can register at DFW Open Data Day or visit DFWOpenDataDay.com for more information.
