Designs for new aquatic centers to be presented at upcoming public meetings

Dallas Park and Recreation Department officials will reveal design concepts during public meetings that begin later this month. Design concepts for regional centers at Crawford, Samuell Grand and Fretz parks will be presented as well as designs for mid-sized community facilities at Lake Highlands North and Kidd Springs. Design concepts for a neighborhood center at Tietze Park also will be revealed.

Residents are encouraged to attend and provide feedback as the City works towards a final design for each location. Each meeting will focus on the design of a specific location so be sure to attend the meeting for the aquatic facility that is most important to you. Once the design phase is complete, the projects will go out for bid, with construction anticipated to start in May 2017.

Here’s the list of meetings:  3_4_2016+all+meetings.
