Dallas Office of Homeless Solutions launches new website
DALLAS – The Office of Homeless Solutions (OHS) has launched the new DallasHomelessSolutions.com website to serve as a resource for organizations, communities, and residents. The department hopes to widen the scope of conversation by making information more readily available to the public through a consistent and transparent medium.
OHS’ DallasHomelessSolutions.com website highlights the department’s initiatives, partnerships, and transparency, while providing educational tools to help organizations, communities, and residents give responsibly. Organizations may also learn how they can register to become a vendor with the City to provide emergency shelter during inclement weather.
Stakeholders can keep up to date on topics such as street outreach and success stories pertaining to the rehousing of unsheltered individuals via the Keep up with OHS blog. Visitors can also educate themselves and their communities on ways in which they may help lift up those less fortunate via the Get Involved page, where resources for donations and volunteer opportunities may be found.
