Dallas CFO named Dallas Business Journal 2017 Emerging Leader

The City of Dallas Chief Financial Officer, Elizabeth Reich, was awarded CFO of the Year in the ‘Emerging Leader’ category by the Dallas Business Journal. Reich was honored in a ceremony at the Reunion Hyatt Regency.

“I am proud to lead a dedicated finance team in managing taxpayer dollars wisely, and providing the service the public expects and deserves.” said Reich, “I appreciate working with the Mayor, City Council, and City Manager to tell the story of our strong Dallas economy and all that we are doing to improve the community.”
During the ceremony, Reich was commended for her work on the Dallas Police and Fire Pension, construction of the Dallas 365 Plan, and implementation of the first balanced biennial budget proposal for the City of Dallas.

Dallas City Councilman Adam McGough originally nominated Reich for the honor. Of Reich, he said, “Elizabeth is a hard worker, a dedicated public servant, and a person of strong character.” He continued, “We do not recognize our public servants enough, and I was proud to nominate Reich for this well-deserved honor, and I am thankful to the Dallas Business Journal for their recognition.”
