Based on over 26,000 completed surveys, the study measures overall traveler satisfaction regarding the following factors: terminal facilities, airport arrival/departure, baggage claim, security check, check-in/baggage check, and food, beverage, and retail. The large airport segment, defined as serving 10 to 32.9 million passengers per year, resulted in an average score of 784 and the overall North American airport score was 777. Dallas Love Field achieved an overall score of 825.

Though overall satisfaction throughout the industry fell due to increased crowds, concession inflation, and parking shortages, DAL’s continued focus on the customer experience allowed the airport to remain amongst the best in the country. In a related achievement, DAL also tied for first with Tampa International Airport in the Check-In/Baggage Check category.

Dallas Love Field has consistently ranked in the top four airports in the J.D. Power North American Airport Satisfaction Study, including multiple second-place rankings and a first-place ranking since 2018.
