D-Day Veteran Recognized by France

A representative of the French government came all the way to Dallas City Hall to pin the that country’s Legion of Honor medal on seven North Texas veterans who fought on the beaches of Normandy in June of 1944. It is the highest decoration offered by France, and is awarded as a thank you for the sacrifices soldiers made to keep the world free.
