COMMUNITY GARDEN GRANT: GROWING ORGANIC, SAVING WATER AND FEEDING THE HUNGRY

Autumn planting season is approaching and the City of Dallas Office of Environmental Quality is announcing round two of the Community Garden Grant program.

The Community Garden Grant Fund helps residents seeking to begin or expand a community garden using organic growing methods, water conservation measures and donation of produce to local food charities.

Applicants must develop their own proposal and community connections.
Deadline for grant applications is Sept. 25.

Applicants are encouraged to read the Guidelines for application to ensure you are providing the required documentation to support your proposal and satisfy grant requirements. The City of Dallas is committed to ensuring the resiliency of our food supply, saving water and feeding the hungry.
