City seeking public input at Neighborhood Public Hearings starting in January 2017

Public Hearings will be held Jan. 5 to 12 to get citizen input on the City’s Consolidated Plan Budget for Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs.

The event will provide an overview of the Fiscal Year 2017-18 Consolidated Plan Budget for HUD grant funds, solicit input on community needs, and enable citizens to learn about HUD funded programs and connect with City of Dallas departments.

The Consolidated Plan Budget consists of these HUD Grant Funds:

  • Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
  • Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME)
  • Housing Opportunities for Persons with Aids (HOPWA)
  • Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG)

Neighborhood Public Hearings will be held at Dallas City Hall, Willie B. Johnson Recreation Center, MLK Community Center, Jaycee Zaragoza Recreation Center, Timberglen Recreation Center, and Tommie Allen Recreation Center.
