City of Dallas Chief Information Officer named City Executive of the Year by State Scoop

City of Dallas Chief Information Officer William Zielinski has been named among the winners of City Executive of the Year by StateScoop, an online news publication which focuses on technology in local government.

As Dallas’ CIO, Bill Zielinski has begun to change the entire technology culture and move the city toward becoming leaders in technology. Zielinski has focused on optimizing the city’s infrastructure to remove technological debt and improve the city’s cybersecurity to best in class for the region.

Back for its fourth year, the LocalSmart Awards program honors the visionaries who transform local government to make a difference in citizens’ lives. These awards celebrate the achievements of those who work to make a lasting impact in the government IT community.
