The City of Dallas and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community will host a press conference to kick off the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday celebration weekend. Activities celebrating Dr. King’s life and legacy will include a sneak preview of the new MLK Jr. Center, Dallas Museum, a candle lighting ceremony, awards banquet, silent auction and parade.
