VIDEO: One month ago memorial began at DPD Headquarters

One month ago, a memorial began in front of Dallas Police Department Headquarters to honor the five officers killed in the line of duty on July 7, 2016. Thousands of citizens and law enforcement from all over the world visited to leave behind messages and items in support for law enforcement. We will never forget the sacrifice made by DART Officer Brent Thompson, Officer Patrick Zamarripa, Officer Michael Krol, Sergeant Michael Smith and Senior Corporal Lorne Ahrens.

The items left behind at the memorial were a huge form of encouragement to our law enforcement and we thank you for your support.
