Town Hall meetings planned to review Citizens Bond Task Force results

The City of Dallas will continue development of the 2017 Capital Bond Program (CBP) by hosting two town hall meetings this week.  The meetings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday May 22 and Thursday May 25 in Dallas City Hall Council Chambers, 1500 Marilla Street, 6th Floor. Parking is available in the lot behind City Hall. Additional upcoming meetings, if necessary, will be announced at these town hall meetings.

Both meetings will provide opportunities for citizens to review results of the Citizens Bond Task Force and associated subcommittees work completed over the past few weeks, and will also include opportunities for citizens to provide testimony.

The subcommittees corresponding to the proposed CBP propositions are:

•    Streets
•    Flood Protection
•    Parks and Trails
•    Economic Development and Housing
•    Critical Facilities
