Dallas Animal Services launches $5 foot long special

During the first week of September, Dallas Animal Services (DAS) is hosting a special adoption event to find homes for pets in need. From September 1 through September 8, all pets that measure 12 inches or longer from nose to tail will have their adoption fee lowered to only $5.

This adoption special is designed to help find forever homes for the highest population groups currently in the shelter – adult cats and medium and large dogs.

DAS is committed to help keep Dallas safe, compassionate and healthy for people and animals. DAS intakes hundreds of animals a day, and relies on adopters, fosters, and rescues to find loving homes for pets in our care. Dallas Animal Shelter is open for adoption from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday and will operate normal hours on Labor Day.
