Service Alert: Delays in Sanitation pickup

Some customers are experiencing late garbage and recycling collection.  The City anticipates some continued delays due to lower than required collection vehicle availability.  This week, residents may experience collection times that are later than normal and in some isolated instance some residents may not receive collection until the following morning.  In the near term, there is increased likelihood of collection delays over the next 90-120 days depending on daily collection vehicle availability.  As new collection vehicles arrive, they will be put into service.

Sanitation will notify 3-1-1 each evening of which areas will be affected by service delays.  Information including the routes, boundaries of affected areas, and estimated collection time the following day will be shared with 3-1-1. If you believe your area has been affected by the service delays, visit the Sanitation website for more specific information.  Links will be posted for collection areas delayed from the previous day.
