Winter weather delays, closures

Winter weather delays, closures

The City of Dallas is continuing to monitor the winter weather event in the area. Check back frequently for updates.

Sanitation Delays
Collection operations are suspended for MONDAY and TUESDAY service areas due to hazardous weather and street conditions. When operations resume, all resources will be dedicated to garbage pickup in missed areas. Please hold your recyclable materials until next week.

Week 3 Brush and Bulky Trash collection is also impacted. Follow the normal set out schedule, but expect delays.
The neighborhood streets and alleyways in which Sanitation operates may take longer than main roads to become safely passable for our heavy equipment. The safety of our Sanitation team and the public is our top priority. Thank you for your continued patience during this rare extended winter weather event in North Texas. We will continue to provide regular updates here and on our website until normal operations resume.
