- The homeless encampment under the I-45 Bridge has officially closed. Fences have been constructed and city contractors have cleared the area of any remaining items. Dallas Police Department’s Shawn Williams discusses the process of closing Tent City.
- Dallas Fire Rescue raised more than $500,000 during their Fill the Boot campaign, with all of that money going directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
- Dallas Water Utilities briefed the council on a proposed five-year water conservation plan. The City’s goal is to reduce water use by an average of 1 percent per year over the next five years by focusing on water system improvements and educating top water users.
