TRAFFIC ADVISORY
DALLAS DIA DE LOS MUERTOS PARADE AND FESTIVAL – October 28, 2023
Please be advised, a special event permit has been issued for the
DALLAS DIA DE LOS MUERTOS PARADE AND FESTIVAL on Saturday, Oct. 28. The parade steps off at 7 p.m. at Dallas City Hall Plaza. Projected attendance is 10,000 people.
Road closures related to this special event will impact traffic around the Central Business District. Parking is prohibited along all streets listed below on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The following streets will be closed to traffic beginning at 6:30 p.m. Streets will close approximately 30 minutes ahead of participants and streets will be reopened as the last participant passes through. All streets pertaining to the parade should be open by 9:30 p.m.

During the parade, vehicular traffic trying to leave the area enclosed by the parade route should utilize:
- Before 6:30 p.m., vehicular traffic should make their way to the Wood Street and Ervay intersection.
- After 6:30 p.m., vehicular traffic should make their way to the Field and Young Street intersection.
