Statement regarding second security incident at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center

The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center has been cleared. The Dallas Police Department has determined the building to be safe. All normal operations and activities will resume as planned.

Original post at 4:44 p.m., Sunday, December 10, 2017:

Today, around 2:58 p.m., the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center received another bomb threat. The Dallas Police Department is on scene and investigating. The building has been evacuated out of precaution. Dallas officers are currently securing the building. More information will be released as it becomes available.
