Register now for Connect Dallas Mobility Fair & Symposium
The Connect Dallas Winter Symposium is scheduled on February 27 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Briscoe Carpenter Livestock Center at Fair Park. The theme is “Year of Mobility: Why 2020 marks a turning point for Dallas.” Attendees will learn about the City’s first-ever five-year Strategic Mobility Plan, complete interactive activities to provide input on the City’s future direction of transportation and listen to a panel discussion with local mobility, innovation, land use, and workforce experts.
The symposium’s interactive activities include:
- An information station, introducing attendees to the planning process and previous work completed;
- a “Thought Wall,” displaying all Strategic Mobility Plan’s driving principles;
- a scenario station, which will allow participants to express feedback about different scenarios;
- and a MetroQuest survey display that will enable participants to take part in the latest survey.
A “can’t miss” event that includes a panel discussion lead by Ruben Landa, President-Elect of the Greater Dallas Planning Council, under the theme “Year of Mobility: Why 2020 marks a turning point for Dallas.” Panelists include representatives from Zarin Gracey, City of Dallas – Office of Business Diversity, Jennifer Sanders, Dallas Innovation Alliance, Chris Miller, Uber, and Patrick Kennedy DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit), Monte Anderson, Options Real Estate.
