The original Star Wars trilogy returns to the Majestic Theatre big screen

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away LucasFilm put the original Star Wars Trilogy into the Disney vault for safekeeping. For a short time in summer 2019 they have decided to allow a handful of venues to show the films and have selected the historic Majestic Theatre in Dallas. Over the month of August the Majestic Theatre, with production  help from the Texas Theater and Aviation Cinemas, will screen the films in separate screening events. Tickets are on sale now with partial proceeds to be donated to the Peter Mayhew Foundation. This event is sponsored by the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs.
