New runway now open at Dallas Executive Airport
Dallas Executive Airport runway 13-31 is now open after more than a year and a half of reconstruction. Realignment of the north end of Runway 13 is scheduled to be completed in 2017.
Dallas District 3 Council Member Casey Thomas, II welcomes the new addition in southern Dallas.
“The new runway pavement will provide adequate support for aircraft loads and provide a smooth and stable, year-round, all-weather surface,” said Dallas Executive Airport Manager Darrell Phillips. “The pavement will provide stability to withstand the abrasive action of traffic and adverse weather conditions and meet all FAA Standards.”
