Important information from the City of Dallas

A company recently received instructions by email to change their current payment and all future and outstanding payments to the City of Dallas using ACH/Wire. The email was fraudulent.

Before changing payment methods or banking information based on a request purportedly from the City of Dallas, please confirm with the City department to which you are making payment AND the City of Dallas Controller’s Office that the request is legitimate.
