The Dallas Youth Commission empowers young leaders from every council district to serve our communities and develop leadership skills for the future. 

Youth who want to drive change can join one of our issue-focused committees, the driving force of the Youth Commission. Led by Commissioners who lend guidance and oversight, committees provide hands-on leadership experience. They unite diverse teenagers from across Dallas to develop initiatives and solutions in education, justice, health, sustainability, and more.
