Dallas Park and Recreation Launches New Senior Program Division
Seniors make up nearly a quarter of the City’s total population and the Dallas Park and Recreation is serving this growing population by launching a new Senior Program Division. Its primary focus will be providing programs and activities to promote health and wellness within the senior community.
Dallas Park and Recreation will host meetings over the next couple of months to get feedback from seniors to determine the types of programs and services they want.
“We are very excited about this new division and public input is crucial as we determine goals, programs and activities,” said Park and Recreation Assistant Director Crystal Ross. “We invite all Dallas seniors to join us at our round table meetings so that together we can build a strong foundation for this new division.”
