Dallas Love Field Airport to offer free Wi-Fi

Dallas Love Field will launch free Wi-Fi for customers beginning September 7 after receiving approval from the Dallas City Council at its August 22 meeting.

Customers have long requested the airport expand upon its 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi. As the 31st-busiest U.S. airport in terms of passenger traffic, Love Field joins many of its peer airports in offering what has become an industry standard.

“Love Field is excited to bring this service to our customers,” Department of Aviation Director Mark Duebner said. “We have no doubt heard their requests over the past few years and are taking this step to continue our goal of leading the evolution of the airport experience.”

Customers will now have the option of a fixed-speed free Wi-Fi, but can also pay for faster Wi-Fi speeds which is a similar model to many airports across the United States. In 2017, Love Field hosted 15,723,617 passengers.
