Dallas paid sick leave enforcement gets postponed

The City of Dallas Earned Paid Sick Leave Ordinance was set to be enforced on April 1, 2020. However, the ESI/Employee Solutions LP, Hagan Law Group LLC and the State of Texas sued the City of Dallas in the Eastern District of Texas and sought a temporary injunction to halt the implementation of the Ordinance. U.S. District Judge Sean D. Jordan granted the temporary injunction, temporarily postponing the Earned Paid Sick Time Ordinance implementation.
