Residents and city staff have received reports of fraudulent text messages requesting payment for alleged parking violations. The texts mimic government-style language and direct recipients to unofficial links that request payment and personal information. The texts appear to come from non-official numbers.
The City of Dallas will never reach out to parking ticketholders in this manner. Residents are advised not to click any links in the texts or provide any personal information. Always verify your ticket information and submit payments through the payment portal on our website.
