City of Dallas to host open houses for 2024 Capital Bond Program

Starting the month of April 2023, the City of Dallas Office of Bond and Construction Management is hosting a series of virtual open houses to discuss the 2024 Capital Bond Program.

The 2024 Bond Capital Program will allocate approximately one billion dollars to City of Dallas Infrastructure and Public Safety priorities including: streets, transportation, housing, stormwater, city facilities like libraries, cultural arts, fire and police stations and economic development.

With an estimated election date of May 2024, the Bond Office would like to engage with  residents to identify their needs to allocate the funds for the various proposition.

The first meeting will take place virtually on Thursday, April 13 at 6 p.m. It will be conducted via Webex.

These open houses will give residents an opportunity to learn about the capital bond program and ask questions. They will occur on a monthly basis. The Webex information will be updated on the Office of Bond and Construction Management website and on social media.
