City of Dallas partners with Kroger to host grocery delivery hiring event

DALLAS – The City of Dallas and Kroger Co. are hosting a grocery delivery hiring event for the southern Dallas fulfillment center.

Kroger is looking to hire between 80 and 100 associates in Dallas as it continues to bring Kroger Delivery to all Dallas residents this summer, providing fresh food and convenient service.

“Kroger already hired more than 100 people at the first hiring event, so I am very excited about the continued job opportunities and the healthy food opportunities the Kroger Delivery brings to District 8 and Dallas,” said Councilmember Tennell Atkins. “I encourage residents to stop by the Highland Hills Library on Saturday to apply for these good-paying jobs and learn more about Kroger Delivery.”

The fair will take place at Highland Hills Library on Aug. 20 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Highland Hills Library is located at 6200 Bonnie View Rd., Dallas, TX, 75241.

Reflecting the dynamic Dallas region, the grocery retailer plans to hire talented individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and experiences. Kroger Delivery is recruiting drivers, as well as associates in vital areas such as logistics and human resources.

“We are a reflection of the communities we serve and remain committed to hiring individuals who share in our passion for people and fresh food,” said Jim Hinz, human resources manager, Kroger Delivery. “Led by our purpose to Feed the Human Spirit, we are actively recruiting new talent to join our team and offer competitive wages, top-tier healthcare and retirement benefits, opportunities to learn and advance, and a welcoming, inclusive work environment. Kroger is a place where you can come for a job and stay for a career.”
