Camp designed for teens to learn how to respond to a disaster

The Office of Emergency Management and El Centro College are hosting an Emergency Response Summer Camp specifically designed to help teenagers learn Community Emergency Response Team skills to know how to respond to any emergency or disaster.

The camp will be held from June 19 to June 23 and will include daily classes from 8 to 12 p.m. Afternoon activities from 1 to 4 p.m. will also be available.

The course will be held at El Centro College every day except for June 23, when transportation from El Centro College to Dallas Fire-Rescue will be provided. There is a registration fee of $10. To register, visit: https://sites.google.com/site/teencertdallas/.
